The Endless

On the first day of the 50th edition of the Sitges Festival, Popstar Never Stop Never Stopping I was lucky to see “The Endless”, the surprise of the day for me. A very interesting film that, despite not being entirely original, maintains the intrigue and interest throughout the entire projection.

The directors (and also actors) Justin Benson and 13 Hours The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi Aaron Moorhead who had already collaborated in the direction of “Spring” (2016), “V / H / S Viral” (2014), and “Resolution” (2012) bring us this story of two brothers who had belonged to a sect when they were young. Thanks to the older brother they managed to escape and now they are living a new life but not as wonderful as they expected. One day they receive a tape from one of the sisters of the sect, informing them that if they have received this tape it is the one that has been a successful trip and that they will be seen on the other side.

The younger brother is curious to know what has happened Manchester by the Sea to them and despite the initial resistance of the older brother, the two end up going to the sect to see what has happened. As soon as they arrive, they see that everything is exactly the same, too much the same. All are preserved very well and healthy and it is believed that the secret lies in the diet, natural beer and healthy food. Soon they will begin to discover other secrets and mysteries that could be the cause of the good state of their old companions.
