Annihilation

Annihilation or Annihilation was on my list of most In the Fade  anticipated film releases for 2018. Although when I wrote about her at the end of last year I did not have much idea about what was going on. But it counted on the pedigree of being carried out by Natalie Portman and Oscar Isaac and, mainly, of which its script and direction were of one of the preferred film-makers in the writing of CNET in Spanish: Alex Garland. And we are very fans of his previous film, Ex Machina.

So fans that in preparation to see this film, write this review and interview Garland I decided it was a good idea to read the homonymous novel by Jeff VanderMeer Beautiful Boy and the first part of the trilogy on which this story is based. Maybe so much preparation was a mistake. And is that one of my biggest problems with Annihilation, the movie, are their differences with Annihilation, the novel.

It is true that this is not a simple story at all. Assassination Nation Trying to summarize it in a short synopsis and without revealing too much information is complex. That’s why it’s better that I refrain from trying.
